オーロラ！！オーロラ！！（１）

Aurora!! Aurora!! vol.1

今日はアラスカ大学のオーロラ予報が"High"なんです。
こりゃぁ、なんとしても写真を撮りまくらなくちゃなぁって思っていたら、
なんと、今日は曇り。。
The aurora forecast of UAF says aurora activity will be high today.
I was thinking I would not stop myself taking pictures,
BUTTT! it is cloudy today. . .



でももう一ヶ月くらいちゃんとしたオーロラ見てないし、なんとか見れないかなぁ。。
そうだ、晴れているところまでドライブすればいいんだ！
アラスカは広いんですから、どこかに晴れているところがあるはず。
っと思い立ち、とりあえず隣町（といっても60マイルほど（96km）離れているけど）のネナナまで行ってみました。
すると、、、
But I want to see aurora, because I have not seen aurora for one month, . . hum. . .
Oh yeah! I should drive to somewhere clear sky!
Alaska is so large that there may be clear sky somewhere!
Then, I drove to Nenana, the next town but 60 mile apart from Fairbanks.
Aaaannnd, . .



霧っぽい空を突き抜けて真っ赤なオーロラが見えるじゃありませんか！
上の写真の橋はタナナ河にかかる橋です。
こんな明るい真っ赤なオーロラは、アラスカに来て3年になる広美も初めて！
The red aurora is glowing, through the foggy sky!
The bridge taken on the above picture is the bridge crossing over Tanana River.
It is the first time that I saw such bright red aurora, since I came to Alaska three years ago!



え〜〜〜ん、すごすぎて涙が出てきちゃう。。
で、まぶたが凍ってくっ付いちゃうの（笑）。
下の写真はネナナ・アイスクラシックの見張り台です。
I cannot stop tears dropping, watching so beautiful aurora. . .
But sometimes my eyes stick because tears freeze up!
The picture below is the lookout place for Nenana Ice Classic.



うぇ〜〜ん、ここまで来たらもう、マッキンリー山といっしょにオーロラが写った一世一代の傑作を撮るために、 デナリ国立公園にまでいっちゃえぃ。。っと、凍り豆腐みたいにスカスカになっちゃったノー味噌で思い立って、 行ってしまいましたぁ。。
下の写真はデナリ国立公園入口付近で撮りました。
ここで見てもやっぱりオーロラは赤色です。
I should go to Denali National Park to take the best pictures of my life, pictures of auroras taken with Mt. McKinley, . . I thought with my freeze-dried brain, . . and went there truly. . .
The picture below was taken around the entrance of Denali National Park.
The aurora was still red.



デナリ国立公園の入口ではマッキンリー山は見えないので、さらに車を転がしていると。。
あーーーーー、にじいろーーーー！
While I was driving again because Mt. McKinley cannot be seen at the park entrance, . .
Oh my goddess! Rainbow aurora!



アハハハ。。虹色のオーロラなんて。
わかったぁ。こりゃきっと、寒さで頭がおかしくなっちゃったんだ。。
Ah, I see, my brain may be getting crazy because of coldness!







以後、麻痺したノー味噌でひたすら写真を撮り続けちゃった。。
The following, I continued to take pictures with my atrophied brains. . .
