The End of the Road is. . . vol.2.
昼間はゴールデン・デーというお祭りを見た後に
出発したので、もうすっかり日が暮れてしまいました。
そしたら。。。
Because I departed after I had seen Golden Days festival,
it was already at dusk.
And then, . .
ねこさんだぁ！
広美、初めてだよぉ。お前さんに会ったの。
ず〜〜〜っと待ってたんだよぉ。リンクスさん。いや、ボブキャット君かな。
あっ！行かないで！おねがい！

It is the first time that I see you!
I have loooooonnngged to see you! Ms. Lynx, or Mr. Bobcat?
No, don't leave me! . . please. . .
いっちゃった。。
夜のドライブは動物さんに良く会います。
そのほかにも、ムースさんとか、ヤマアラシさんにも会いました。
これはヤマアラシさんのおしりね。
She has gone. . .
The night drive lets me see many animals.
I saw moose and porcupines too.

広大な湿地に月が沈んでいきますぅぅ。。

Moon is setting on vast wetland.
で、結局、エリオット・ハイウェーの終点、マンレー温泉に着いたのは明け方。
エリオット・ハイウェーはタナナ河にぶつかっています。
Finally, I reached the end of Elliott Highway, Manley Hot Springs, at dawn.
Elliott Highway ends at the riverside of Tanana River.
いったい、いくつめの終点にたどり着いたのかしら。。。
アラスカは地の果て。
だから、どこに行っても、道は行き止まってしまうんですよね。
広美はいつも、この世の楽園を求めて走っています。
走って走って、いつもいつのまにか終点にたどり着いてしまう。
そしていつも、走り終わってから気づくんです。
ああ、今まで通り過ぎてきたところが楽園だったんだって。。。
人の一生なんて、そんなものなのかもしれませんね。
How many ends, I have arrived. .
Alaska is the end of the land,
and it is no reason that any road goes to the end.
I always drive, looking for the paradise in the world.
Drive, drive, and always drive over to the end without consciousness.
And always, realize after drive is over,
Oh, the place where I passed by, . . was the paradise. . .
Human life must be such things, . . isn't it?
